Sebago Fiber would like to extend a big thank you to the CMP and Premium Utility Contractor crews from Ohio and New York who spent the last 1.5 days on Frye Island restoring power to all 585 electric meters.
These crews spend weeks restoring power services across the country, and missed holidays with their own families due to Maine’s Christmas storms.
Sebago Fiber’s internet service remained online and undamaged, but required fiber to be moved to the newly replaced poles. The island had 3 poles destroyed on Middle Beach road and 7 locations with trees on primary power. Thank you to Premium Utility for transferring our fiber service to the new poles this morning.
